News updates are regularly posted on our Facebook page Wightdrive, rather than on this website.

Current demand for driving lessons and tests has never been higher and there are currently lengthy wait for driving tests.

Cancellation dates do appear and can shorten wait times. We do urge prospective students to have at least studied and booked their theory tests before starting lessons.

We do prioritise lessons to a degree, whereas those students with theory tests passed and tests booked take first priority. We believe this to be the fairest approach.

We will NOT accept any enquiries for test bookings unless a course of lessons has been taken with us and a ‘test ready’ standard is reached.

Lessons are available Monday – Friday daytimes. We no longer offer evening or weekend lessons, except in exceptional circumstances.
